The Lutron MS-OPS5M-LA is a light almond sensor switch that combines a Maestro switch with a passive infrared occupancy or vacancy sensor. It operates at 120V and supports a 5A load, making it compatible with various lighting types including incandescent, LED, and fan loads. This sensor switch can be configured for single-pole or 3-way applications.

Construction & Interface

The sensor switch features a crush/tamper-resistant lens and a smart ambient light detection system. It is designed for indoor use only and comes in a light almond finish. Please note that the wallplate is sold separately.

Sensor, Smart & Timer Capabilities

This sensor switch uses passive infrared technology to detect occupancy and vacancy, offering both Auto-ON/Auto-OFF and Manual-ON/Auto-OFF modes. It provides major motion coverage up to 900 sq ft and minor motion coverage up to 400 sq ft.

Wiring & Installation

The MS-OPS5M-LA can be installed in single-pole or 3-way configurations. A neutral wire is optional, but a ground or neutral wire is required for operation. The switch uses wire leads for connections.
