This exceptional cage mounted foraging device will introduce your pet bird to the concept of working for food.  Parrots are naturally inquisitive and will chew into the chipboard box and thru the honeycomb panels to retrieve food items hidden within.

How to Use (2 ways)

1. Bolt the toy to the cage and remove the cap from the skewer
   
   
2. Construct a foraging box and insert the honeycomb piece. Do not close the lid
   
   
3. Slide the box over the skewer, and fill with your birds food or their favourite treats
   
   
4. Close the lid, screw on the skewer cap 
   
   
5. Watch your bird work for their food, fulfilling the natural process of foraging!

OR

1. Bolt the toy to cage and remove the cap from the skewer
   
   
2. Prepare large pieces of produce (fruits, veggies)
   
   
3. Slide them down the skewer and screw the cap back on.
   
   
4. Watch your bird explore and enjoy new foods and ways to eat! 
   (this method has proven extremely useful in encouraging birds to eat a better variety of foods as they are presented in a much more interesting way than offering in a dish.)
